Principal/Sr Principal Network Engineer

DataCom Solutions is searching for Principal/ Sr Principal Network Engineer (multiple positions) to join the Network and Field Service. This position is located in Huntsville, AL with travel to company and customer sites potentially required up to 10% of the time.

NOTE: Must be able to attain a Security clearance.

This requisition may be filled at Principal or Sr Principal Engineer Network level:

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Engineer Network are:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (and 5 years of relevant experience; or 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD) or additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered

Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Engineer Network are:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (and 9 years of relevant experience, or Masters and 5 years, or PhD and 3 years) or additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
• Demonstrate ability to quickly learning new concepts and approaches

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:
  • Modeling tools (CAMEO)
  • Analysis and Design tools (MatLab)
  • Networking experience with TCP/IP
  • Strong HW/SW integration skillset
  • Experience in data analysis requirements development
